We are a small farm set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty above Mounts Bay, with glorious views over St Michael’s Mount. Our home is a converted 17century barn, graded five star gold by the AA with an outstanding breakfast award. Our Gardens have been professionally landscaped to complement the views over Mounts Bay with the sweep of lawns giving way to our Italian gardens, leading back in turn to the sheltered Mediteranearn style courtyards and terraces nearer to the house – just perfect for relaxing.

All in all great value and we are close to the coastal foot path for two car free walking days from the farm. Perranuthnoe – a five minute walk away, boasts a sandy beach, cafe specialising in gluten free lunches and a village pub (The Victoria Inn) with a Raymond Blanc trained chef – quite a few reasons to visit us I think – of course I’m biased!

Tremayne is an ideal place to stay, being central for exploring West Cornwall, whether it’s a day out to St. Ives or St. Michaels Mount, or an evening at the Minack Theatre or even a trip to the Scilly Isles. With picturesque beaches and miles of coastal walks nearby, Tremayne will give you that service to make your visit more memorable. We have our own cafe and coffee shop and ice cream parlour (we do the best cream tea’s in Mousehole) and are pet friendly for a nominal one-off charge (with a prior arrangement). Ship Inn

Mousehole, two miles south of Penzance, is the archetypal Cornish village and boasts what is said to be one of the most beautiful harbours in Britain. Boskednan Farm

Nestling in rich coastal farmland on the edge of the moor Boskednan is a period granite farmhouse set in an ideal location for walkers and bird watchers while being within easy reach of the beaches of St Ives and the town of Penzance. The farm is not a working farm but has horses and pasture where guests can walk and enjoy magnificent views of the south coast. The house is set in an informal garden which guests are welcome to use. Sun loungers are available. Accommodation is accessed via a separate front door affording the guests privacy. Breakfast is buffet style including freshly baked croissants and a selection of ham and cheeses etc. Produce is locally sourced wherever possible. Boskednan is surrounded by an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty including many ancient sites dating back 5000 years. These are easily reached on foot. For birdwatchers it is a paradise with cuckoos and nightjars present during the breeding season and winter visitors such as hen harriers and short eared owls. Many restaurants and pubs are available in Penzance which is about a 10 minute drive. St Ives can be reached by car along the picturesque North Coast road in about 20 minutes. The famous five miles of golden sands at Hayle are within a 30 minute drive. From here it is possible to take the small branch line train to St Ives.

The Trevelyan Arms

Traditional Cornish village pub with accommodation and dining. Well-stocked bar offering a feast of spirits including over 60 different rums plus a generous selection of whisk(e)ys gins and other tasty spirits. Wholesome freshly-cooked food served in lounge six/seven nights a week all year round using fresh and locally sourced produce offering great value for money. Children families and dogs are always welcome at anytime in either the public bar or the lounge. As a former manor house for Lord Trevelyan this 17th-century property stands at the centre of the village of Goldsithney. It has also been a coaching house a bank and post office in its time but these days is very much the traditional family-run Cornish pub. Situated just 1/2 mile inland from the Cornish coastal path within walking distance of Mount’s Bay and the iconic National Trust property St Michael’s Mount. The closest beach at Perranuthnoe is just 10-15 minute walk. Land’s End is 20 minutes by car and both south and north coasts are easily accessible. If bird watching is a hobby then the marshes at Marazion and the estuary at Hayle are both about a ten minute drive. Cyclists travelling between Land’s End and John O’ Groats are very welcome there is safe undercover parking for bikes.

The Old Success Inn
