Come and enjoy the local atmosphere in the oldest pub in town
What our customers say
The oldest pub in Penzance! The interior lives up to the name with artifacts and beer bottles from ages past. The food is more modern and creative. Interesting takes on local seafood standards and traditional pub food. The seafood platter was fresh and lovely. The hake was delicious. Good selection of local ales and cider.
Absolutely brilliant meal, cooked to perfection and presented well. Good service and pleasant staff. The atmosphere was brilliant and the Hake was delicious.
Lovely local pub that makes you as welcome as it's regular customers. Great choice of real ales. Mackrell beautifully cooked.
Lovely setting, authentic food and great service. Added bonus with the head chef being a master chef finalist 2010. Food 10/10 I went two nights in row.
